Slutskaya celebrated 30-th birthday in the plane

The figure skater travels on the country with ice show "Ice Age"

Today the double world champion and the sevenfold champion of Europe on figure skating Irina Slutskaya celebrates the 30 anniversary.

However to meet anniversary to the figure skater it is necessary not at home, and aboard, flying through all Russia. On saturday representation of ice show to which structure Irina travels about on the country, has taken place in Novosibirsk, and today for figure skaters wait already in Khabarovsk....

By the way, Slutskaya not unique who will celebrate the birthday in tour round. The figure skater and Olympic champion Roman Kostomarov has noted yesterday the 32 anniversary on Novosibirsk ice.

Doctors told her that she should stay away from the cold, but she refused and finished 9th at the 2004 World Championships.
In 2005, Slutskaya made a strong comeback after a long stay at a hospital due to vasculitis. She won both the European and World titles...

On April 2007 Slutskaya announced that she and her husband, Sergei, are expecting a child. She gave birth to a son, Artemy, in November of 2007.

Irina is always been Evgeni's great friend.

Yuri Smekalov - best choreographer

Today, at the Bolshoi Theater will host the third round of XI International Competition of ballet dancers and choreographers. In the struggle become finalists: 12.00 in the younger group, in the evening - the eldest. But the outcome has already been summed up competition choreographers. It was attended by young ballet-masters from Azerbaijan, China, Ukraine, Japan, Bulgaria. But the majority of participants (17 participants) were from Russia.

The first award «has» Yuri Smekalov. He presented two miniatures - «Requiem for Narcissus» and «Separation». Yuri Smekalov graduated from the Academy of Russian Ballet of Vaganov's (at George Alexidze). For many years, was a soloist in Ballet Theater under the direction of Boris Eifman, and earlier this year passed in the troupe of the Mariinsky Theater. Talent is a choreographer, he has applied in practice, working with renowned figure skater Evgeni Plushenko, who performe with his programs in the Championship of Russia, Europe and the World....

An acrobat skater and two ladies skaters have the swine flu (influenza A virus subtype H1N1). They are Russian. They arrived at Narita Airport from Moscow and NYC on 24 June, and ran a fever on 27 June. Ladies are twenties and thirties. A man is thirties. They are now in the local hospital. Fortunately their illness are not so serious. But they're isolated from other people just in case. Newspaper and TV didn't tell names of flu victim. I guess the man is Alexei Polishuk

Though Alexei may be an Ukrainian. Take care~

I hope that is not he :huh:

I think that he performance on some show in GIS "spring" tour...

It is important and for Evgeni's, that with this many trips that are facing, take care about self .... and again, he comes to meet with many people... :unsure:

Yesterday I wrote that three Russian skaters are now in the hospital, but it was wrong. They rest in hotel and they don't need to go into the hospital. So, don't worry

And also, i correct; A man (acrobat or aerial) and a woman (aerial or skater in groups) are Russians, both are thirties skaters. Another woman, who is twenties Russian, is staff of the show.
